Celebrating Super Savings at Kroger

I ran into Kroger really quickly today and wanted to share my savings right away. There are some special coupons I wanted to make you aware of.

Kroger 5X Digital Coupons

Kroger is featuring some fantastic digital coupons right now. You load them directly onto your Kroger loyalty card. You may use these special coupons up to 5 times each! Here's a link to the Kroger website. You'll see the banner for the 5X digital coupons right on the front of the page.

$1.29 a jar after coupon

Kroger peanut butter. The regular varieties are on sale for $1.49. The natural (the kind I buy because it has just two ingredients: peanuts and salt) is a little more expensive. It's $1.79 a jar.

But, there is a special $.50 off coupon you can digitally add to your Kroger card right now! You can use the coupon up to 5 times! So, I got each of these jars of natural peanut butter for just $1.29 per jar! If you buy the regular version it will be just $.99 per jar after you apply the coupon.

$.19 each after coupon!

Each 100 count caplet box was on sale for $1.19. After I applied the $1.00 digital coupon, the cost was just $.19 per box!

These are great for putting in the glove box of your automobiles, throwing in your purse, or donating to a local shelter or non-profit organization!

Friday Freebie

Free!

This was the Friday freebie download last Friday! I have no idea what it is like. But, since I rarely purchase anything with sugar in it, my boys will split this and think I am the nicest mom in the world!

Markdowns

$1.49 After Markdown and Manufacturer Coupon

I was hankering for some grapefruit juice today. I walked into the store and, lo and behold, I immediately spied this quart of grapefruit juice marked down to $1.99. There was an additional $.50 paper coupon. So, I got it for $1.49.

Marked down to $1.39.

This was actually what I was looking for at the store in the first place! Greens! You all know that I bulk cooked on Saturday. But, running out of salad greens will result in my running to the nearest store as quickly as possible. Italian salad mix would not have been my first choice. I really like deep greens like kale and spinach. But, this was half price and it will get me by until I can hit up another store tomorrow.

My Total:

I spent just over $10.00

I saved $14.00.

 50% savings!

Pretty good!
